Recipe - Kiwifruit- Onion Chutney

1 cup White vinegar
1 cup Brown sugar, packed
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon Ground red pepper
1 cup Cooking apple, peeled and
chopped
One half cup Sweet onions, thinly cut or sliced up
One half cup Raisins
One fourth Lemon, thinly cut or sliced up
1 One half cup Kiwi fruit, peeled and
chopped
Combine first 5 ingredients in a large saucepan; cook over low heat until
mixture is reduced to 1 cup. Add apple and next 3 ingredients; cook 10
minutes. Stir in kiwifruit; bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cool. Cover
& chill. Serve with poultry, pork or ham.
Yield: 2 One half cups
