3 cup Whole wheat flour
1 cup Cooking oil
One fourth cup Chopped onion
One fourth cup Chopped celery
One fourth cup Chopped carrot
1 One half teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Pepper
The Complete AmericanJewish Cookbook, London & Bishov
Mix ingredients well. For small kishkes (suitable for 2 or 3person
cholent) divide into four parts. Wrap well in parchment paper, twisting
ends securely. Cook one in cholent. Freeze the other three parts.
