Recipe - Kerr Krispy Lunck Pickles

25 md Cucumbers
8 lg Onion
2 lg Green peppers
One half cup Salt
5 cup Cider vinegar
5 cup Sugar
2 tablespoon Mustard seed
1 teaspoon Turmeric
One half teaspoon Cloves ground
Wash cucumbers and slice as thin as possible. Chop onions and peppers,
combine with cucumbers and salt and let stand for 3 hours and drain.
Combine vinegar, sugar and spices in a large perserving kettle, bring to
boil. Add drained cucumbers, heat thoroughly but do not boil. Pack while
hot into sterilized jars and seal at once.
