Recipe - Kathrine Hepburns Brownies

2 Unsweetened chocolate
Squares
One fourth pound Butter (1 stick)
1 cup Granulated sugar
2 Whole eggs
One half teaspoon Vanilla extract
One fourth cup Allpurpose flour
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1 cup Walnuts chopped

Melt the chocolate and the butter together in a pot.
Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; beating thoroughly.
Stir in the flour, salt and walnuts.
Pour into a greased 8"x8" metal baking pan.
Bake at 325 degrees F. for 40 minutes.
Remove pan to a rack to cool. Cut into 12 squares.
Note from Suzy: I personally prefer pecans to walnuts.

becomes their favorite as well.
