Recipe - Jills Beans

1 15 ounce can pork and beans
1 14 ounce can butter beans;
drained
6 sl Bacon
1 Green bell pepper; cut in
strips
1 md Onion
1 3 ounce can cut or sliced up mushrooms;
drained
One half cup Catsup
2 tablespoon Prepared mustard
2/3 cup Maple syrup (may use part
molasses)
1 teaspoon Oregano
8 Cloves, whole
2 Bay leaf
1/3 cup Red wine (optional)
1 cup Diced green chiles (or more
to taste); roasted and
1 cup Serrano chiles (or more to
taste); cut or sliced up in rings
Cut bacon slices in half and cook over medium heat, add green pepper and
onion. Cook until onion is beginning to turn translucent and bacon is
cooked but not crisp. Add all other ingredients. Stir and heat.
