Recipe - Jicama Salad

1 md Jicama; peeled
2 Navel oranges; peeled
Salt
1 teaspoon Chili powder
2 tablespoon Chopped unsalted peanuts
(optional)
1/8 teaspoon Dried red chiles (optional)
Lettuce
Cut jicama into bitesized pieces and place in large bowl. Section oranges
and cut into bitesized pieces, holding sections over bowl so juice will
fall into it. Season to taste with salt. Add chili powder, peanuts and
crushed chiles. Mix well, chill and serve on lettuce. Makes 6 to 8 servings
