Recipe - Jam Thumbprints

2/3 cup Margarine
1/3 cup Granulated sugar
2 Egg yolks
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 One half cup Flour
One half teaspoon Salt
Finely chopped pecans
Strawberry preserves
Cream together margarine and sugar. Add egg yolks, vanilla and salt.
Gradually add flour, mixing well. Shape into Three fourths inch balls; roll into
finely chopped pecans. Place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet. Press
down center of each with thumb. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool
slightly; remove from pan and cool on rack. Just before serving fill
centers with strawberry preserves.
