Recipe - Jalape=f1o Bean Dip

1 Onion, (small) chopped
Butter or margerine
16 ounce Refried beans
One fourth pound Cheddar cheese, shredded (up
to One half cup)
1 cn Jalape=F1o chiles, (4 ounce)
drained and chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Saut‚ onions in butter; add other ingredients and stir over low heat. Serve
warm with corn chips or tostadas.
