4 cup Water
2 cup Chopped onions
1 One half cup Potatoes; cubed
1 cup Dried navy beans
One half cup Carrot; cut or sliced up
One half cup Fresh mushrooms; quartered
One half cup Pearled barley; uncooked
One half pound Lean beef; cut in 1/" pieces
14 One half ounce Tomatoes, canned
14 One fourth ounce Low sodium beef broth
3 lg Garlic cloves; crushed
1 cup Zucchini; cut or sliced up
1 cup Chopped broccoli
One half cup Pasta; alphabet size
1 tablespoon Dried tarragon
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Sage; rubbed style
One half teaspoon Pepper
One fourth teaspoon Ground nutmeg
One half cup Grated Parmesan cheese
Combine first 11 ingedients in 3 One half qt or larger crockpot. Cover & cook on
high for 6 hours. Add zucchini & next 7 ingredients. Cover & cook on high
an additional 30 minutes or until beans are tender. Ladle into soup bowls &
sprinkle with Parmesan.
