Recipe - Italian Sweet Wreath

DOUGH
1 1/3 cup WATER
2 tablespoon BUTTER
2 tablespoon SUGAR
1 teaspoon SALT
4 cup Allpurpose FLOUR
2 teaspoon Rapid or Quick YEAST
TOPPING
One fourth cup SUGAR
1 teaspoon CINNAMON
1 teaspoon ANISE SEED
1/8 teaspoon NUTMEG
WASH
1 EGG beaten with:
2 tablespoon WATER

Remove dough from machine Place on lightly floured surface. Divide dough
into 3 equal parts. Roll each piece into long, slender rope/braid together.
Shape braid into a wreathshaped circle pinch ends together to seal. Place
on lightly greased baking sheet. Cover, let rise 3040 min. Mix topping
ingred. together. Brush top with egg wash and sprinkle w/topping. Bake in
preheated 350° oven for about 20 min until golden.
