Italian dressing mix
1 Teaspoon dried minced onion
1 Tabsp dried parsley, crushed
One fourth Teaspoon dried oregano
One half Teasp crushed basil leaves
One fourth Teasp thyme or marjoram
One half Teaspoon celery seeds
One fourth Teaspoon garlic powder
2 Tabsp grated parmesan cheese
1 One half Teaspoons granulated sugar
1/8 Teaspoon salt
1/8 Teaspoon seasoned pepper
Italian dressing
1 pack Italian mix (see above)
1/3 cup Garlic wine vinegar
Three fourths cup Vegetable oil
A VERY GOOD SALAD DRESSING TO MARINATE TOMATOES & CUCUMBERS ITALIAN
DRESSING MIX: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, stirring until
evenly distributed. Pour into a 1/4cup container with a tightfitting lid
or wrap airtight in heavyduty foil.
Seal container. Label with date and contents. STore in a cool, dry
place. Use within 6 months. Makes 1 package or about 4 tablespoons
Italian Dressing Mix. ITALIAN SALAD DRESSING: In a small bowl or salad
dressing cruet, combine Italian Salad Dressing Mix, venegar and oil. Stir
or shake until blended. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes before serving.
