Recipe - Indian Salsa (Kachoomar)

1 One fourth cup Fresh; soft cheese
; (farmer, ricotta, pot,
goat or cottage)
One half cup Plain lowfat yogurt
1/3 cup Thinly cut or sliced up carrots
1 small Tomato; seeded and minced
One half cup Diced green bell pepper
One half cup Thinly cut or sliced up cucumber
1/3 cup Mixed fresh herbs; (such as
parsley,
; basil, dill or mint)
1 tablespoon Candied ginger
One half teaspoon TABASCO brand Pepper Sauce
Salt to taste
4 Pita bread pockets or wheat
tortillas; cut or sliced up in halves
In medium bowl, combine all ingredients. Serve in pita bread pockets or
rolled in wheat tortillas. Makes 8
