Recipe - Indian Pumpkin Soup

1 tablespoon Butter
1 tablespoon Flour
One half Onion, cut or sliced up thin
1 cup Chicken broth
1 cup Pureed pumpkin
1 cup Milk
One half teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Each pepper, marjoram and
ginger
Cinnamon
Saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour and gradually add broth.
Simmer 10 minutes at a low temperature. Blend at high speed until smooth.
Add milk and seasonings and simmer to blend flavors. Sprinkle each serving
with cinnamon. May be served in a pumpkin shell. Posted to EATL Digest 01
