Ingredients:
Hush Puppies With Onions recipe makes 1 Servings
1 Three fourths cup Cornmeal
4 tablespoon Flour, allpurpose
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
6 tablespoon Onion; chopped
1 Egg; beaten
2 cup Water; boiling
Salad oil
Combine dry ingredients, onion, and egg; add boiling water, stirring
constantly until mixture is smooth. Add more water if necessary. Drop by
spoonfuls into deep, hot oil. Cook until golden brown.
