Recipe - Hungarian Goulash With Dumplings

FROM J.R'S KITCHEN
1 One half cup Flour
One half cup Sugar
One half teaspoon Grated lemon rind
1 One half teaspoon Baking powder
One half teaspoon Baking soda
One half teaspoon Salt
1 Large egg beaten
4 tablespoon Butter melted
1 cup Buttermilk
2 teaspoon Lemon juice
Apricot jam
One fourth cup Chopped almonds
Mix dry ingredients in large bowl.Mix wet ingredients in another bowl.Make
a well in the drys and add quickly the liquids, mixing only to combine.
Fill muffin cups One half full, then add one tsp jam over batter.Cover with
remaining batter and sprinkle with almonds. Bake 400 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 12.
