Ingredients:
Hungarian Cabbage And Noodles recipe makes 10 Servings
1 pound Shredded cabbage; (3 1/2c.)
1 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Shortening
1 small Onion; chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
One fourth pound Noodles (wide); about 2 c.
Mix cabbage with salt and allow to stand One half hour. Squeeze dry. Heat
shortening in skillet and saute cabbage onion, stirring occasionally until
cabbage is lightly browned and tender. Season with salt and pepper. Cook
noodles; drain. Mix noodles with cabbage, heat and serve.
