Recipe - Hot Spiced Claret

2 tablespoon Sugar
2 tablespoon Lemon juice
One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Ground nutmeg
One half cup Hot water
1 Bottle
Claret wine 4/5qt.
In slowcooking pot, combine sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and
water. Stir until well blended. Pour in wine. Cover pot; heat on low 2
to 2 One half hours. Serve hot from the pot.
