Recipe - Hot Slaw

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon Butter or margarine or
Vegetable oil
4 cup Red cabbage shredded
3 tablespoon Red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Sugar
Salt and freshly ground
Black pepper

1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in cabbage, 2
tablespoons vinegar, and Three fourths teaspoon sugar.

2. Cook uncovered over medium heat, stirring occasionally until cabbage is
limp but still crisp, 3 to 5 minutes. Add more vinegar and sugar to taste.
Season with salt and pepper.

Microwave Version

1. In a medium casserole, melt butter on 100% power for 30 seconds.

2. Add cabbage, 2 tablespoons vinegar, and Three fourths teaspoon sugar and microwave
on 100% power 1 to 3 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Add more vinegar and
sugar to taste. Season with salt and pepper.

Preparation Time: About 10 minutes
