Recipe - Hot Bushmills Sundaes

8 ounce Unsweetened crushed
pineapple, (1 can)
1 tablespoon Cornstarch
1 tablespoon Honey
One fourth cup Bushmills Irish whiskey
3 cup Vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt
Drain pineapple, reserving juice in a 2cup glass measure. Add enough water
to reserved liquid to yield Three fourths cup. Add cornstarch and honey; stir with a
wire whisk until smooth.
Microwave cornstarch mixture, uncovered, at HIGH for 2One half to 3 minutes or
until thickened and bubbly, stirring after 1One half minutes. Stir in whiskey,
and microwave at HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir in pineapple, and microwave at
HIGH for
30 seconds. Yield: 6 servings.
Per serving: 165 Calories; 0g Fat (1% calories from fat); 6g Protein; 30g
Carbohydrate; 2mg Cholesterol; 78mg Sodium
Serving Ideas : Serve One fourth cup sauce over One half cup frozen yogurt.
NOTES : The frozen yogurt acts as a cooling chaser to the whiskeyinfused
fruit.
