Recipe - Hot Banana Split

Ingredients:

4 Bananas unpeeled
4 Scoops vanilla or pecan or
butterscotch flavoured
icecream
4 tablespoon Ample or golden syrup
2 tablespoon Flaked almonds or chopped
hazelnuts to serve

1. Heat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Place bananas on a baking sheet and
bake for 2025 mins until the skins are completely blackened. Alternatively
place them on a barbeque after the first heat has died down. Cook for 1015
mins, turning until the skins have blackened.

2. Place the bananas in individual dishes. Carefully split them down the
middle and place a scoop of ice cream on top of each one. Drizzle over the
maple or golden syrup and scatter the almonds on top. Serve at once.
