Recipe - Honey Hermits

1/3 cup Shortening
One half cup Milk
2 Eggs, beaten
One half teaspoon Cloves
1 One half teaspoon Cinnamon
1 1/3 cup Honey
1 cup Raisins, chopped
One half teaspoon Salt
4 tablespoon Baking powder
3 One half cup Flour

Cream shortening & honey together; add eggs, and mix in. Add milk, salt &
raisins; mix well. Sift & mix dry ingredients together; then mix into
batch. Drop by spoon on greased pan. Bake in a moderate oven until brown.
