Recipe - Honey-Baked Root Vegetables

Ingredients:

2 tablespoon Honey
1 tablespoon Margarine, melted
One fourth teaspoon Salt
1 pound Carrots, cut into 4 x
1/2inch sticks
1 small Rutabaga, (1 pound) cut into
4 x 1/2inch sticks
Vegetable cooking spray

Combine honey, margarine, and salt in a large bowl; stir well. Add carrot
and rutabaga; toss to coat vegetables.

Arrange the vegetables in a single layer in a 15 x 10inch jellyroll pan
coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until the
vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Yield: 4 servings (serving
size: 1 cup).

Per serving: 112 Calories; 3g Fat (23% calories from fat); 1g Protein; 21g
Carbohydrate; 0mg Cholesterol; 208mg Sodium

NOTES : Substitute "squeeze" or liquid margarine for the melted margarine,
if desired.
