Recipe - Homemade Cracker Jack (Carmelcorn)

One half cup Honey
One fourth cup Butter or margarine
6 cup Popped corn
1 cup Shelled peanuts
Heat honey and shortening in a saucepan until blended. Cool. Pour over
popcorn which has been mixed with peanuts, stirring as you pour. When
wellcoated, spread on a pan in a single layer. Bake at 350 510 min until
crisp, sitrring several times. The difference between crisp (not brown)
and burnt can be a matter of minutes. Package in plastic bags and
twisttie.
