Recipe - Homemade Applesauce

8 McIntosh or other cooking
apples, (2 3/4lb); peeled
and cut into chunks
1 One half cup Water
Three fourths cup Sugar
pn Cinnamon
Combine apples, water, sugar, and cinnamon in lg. saucepan. Bring to boil;
reduce heat to medlow, cover and cook until water is absorbed, 20 to 25
mins. Cool 10 mins. Mash with potato masher or fork. Refrigerate up to 1
wk. Makes 4 One half cups.
