Recipe - Homecoming Chili

2 pound GROUND BEEF
4 cup ONION CHOPPED
2 cup CELERY CHOPPED
6 GARLIC;MINCED cloves
2 pound TOMATO CANS
4 cup BEEF BROTH
One half cup TOMATO PASTE
1 teaspoon CUMIN GROUND
2 teaspoon SALT
2 teaspoon COCOA UNSWETND
1 teaspoon CINNAMON GROUND
1 teaspoon HOT PEPPERS LIQUID
One fourth teaspoon ALLSPICE GROUND
One fourth teaspoon CLOVES GROUND
2 tablespoon CHILI POWDER
In a kettle, cook ground beef with onion, celery and garlic until browned.
Add tomatoes with their liquid, beef broth, tomato paste and seasonings.
Simmer for 1 hour and add 12 cans of red beans if desired. Serve over buns
with saltines or tortillas; or melt cheese over the top, spread with salsa
and enjoy.
