Recipe - Herbed Wine Marinated Party Steak

1 One half pound Chuck or blade steak, 1
inch thick
One fourth cup Red wine
3 tablespoon Balsamic or red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Each chopped fresh thyme and
oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried)
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
Pinch granulated sugar
Place steak in shallow dish. Whisk together wine, vinegar, oil, mustard,
garlic, thyme, oregano, pepper and sugar; pour over meat and turn to coat
well. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 8 hours or up to 12
hours. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Place steak on greased grill over medium heat; cover and cook, turning
twice, for 20 to 30 minutes or until mediumrare. Transfer to cutting
board; tent with foil and let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into
