Recipe - Herbed Wild Rice

1 cup Sliced green onions
2 tablespoon Becel
1 cup Wild rice, unccoked
3 cup Nonfat chicken broth
1 teaspoon Sage
Three fourths teaspoon Dried thyme
One half teaspoon Salt, optional
In a saucepan over med. heat, saute the onions until tender, about 5 mins.
Add rice; cook for 810 mins. Add broth, sage, thyme, and salt. Pour into
an ungreased 1 One half quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 7080
mins. or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Diabetic
Exchanges:One serving(prepared with margarine and lowsodium broth and no
