Recipe - Helens Cabbage Slaw

1 Head cabbage; shredded
2 tablespoon (heaping) granulated sugar
2 tablespoon (heaping) vinegar
One fourth cup Mayonnaise

Mix sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved; add mayonnaise to mixture.
Toss cabbage with dressing. Sprinkle poppy seeds or celery seeds to taste
if desired. Serves 6.
