Recipe - Heavenly Cheese Grits

4 cup Boiling water
1 cup Quickcooking grits
1 One half teaspoon Salt
6 tablespoon Butter or margarine
1 One half Ts
Worcestershire sauce
1 One half teaspoon Hot pepper sauce
1 One fourth cup Shredded sharp Cheddar
cheese
1 tablespoon Sherry
1 Egg, beaten
How to Prepare:
1.Combine the boiling water, grits and salt in a saucepan; mix well.
2.Cook, covered, over low heat for 5 minutes or until most of the water is
absorbed.
3.Stir in the butter, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, 1 cup of the cheese
and sherry.
4.Fold in the egg until mixed. Spoon into a greased 2 One half quart baking
dish; sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour or
until bubbly.
Note by Judy: Chopped green chiles can be used in place of hot sauce.
