Recipe - Hearty Italian Soup

Three fourths pound Hot Italian Sausage; Sliced
One half md Green Pepper; Chopped
1 md Onion; Chopped
1 cn Tomatoes (19 Oz); Broken Up
1 cn Tomato Sauce; (7 One half Oz)
2 cup Water
One half teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Pouch Lipton Chicken Noodle
Soup Mix
One half cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
In a dutch oven or heavy saucepan, brown sausage, green pepper and onion;
drain. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and garlic powder. Bring to a
boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add soup mix; simmer,
covered 57 minutes longer . May be frozen at this stage. Sprinle each
serving with grated Mozzarella cheese.
Makes 45 servings.
