Recipe - Hearty Hamburger Tomato Stew

1 pound Ground beef; lean turkey (2
One half cups, browned)
1 One fourth cup Chopped onion
2 cup Carrots; peeled and cut or sliced up
1 cup Green bell pepper; chopped
1 cup Fresh mushrooms; cut or sliced up
1 cn (16 oz) green beans; cut,
drained
1 cn (16 oz) corn; drained
3 Stalks celery; cut or sliced up
1 cn (46 oz) tomato juice
2 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Celery seed
Salt and pepper to taste
Brown ground beef or turkey in a large saucepan. Mix in remaining
ingredients; bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer covered 30 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Cool and freeze.
To prepare for serving, thaw stew. Then bring to a boil; reduce heat;
simmer
10 minutes. Makes 8 servings.

peel and slice 2 cups carrots, 1 cup fresh mushrooms, 3 stalks celery
Freeze in: 16cup container
