1 sl Bread; toasted
Mayonnaise
Red onion; thinly cut or sliced up and
broken apart
Sharp Cheddar cheese; grated
On a slice of toasted bread, spread a generous portion of mayonnaise, then
cover with a layer of onion and top with a generous amount of grated
cheese. Place in a cold oven, turn on broiler and cook until cheese bubbles
and browns slightly on top. Eat with a knife and fork. Yield: 1 sandwich.
