1 One half pound Ground meat (lamb, turkey,
beef)
2 cup Rice
1 cup Slivered almonds
2 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Pepper
One half teaspoon Allspice
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
One half teaspoon Nutmeg
3 One half cup Water or broth
One fourth cup Butter

Serving Ideas : This can be used as a bird stuffing, or served on the side
NOTES : Brown meat in butter. Add rice and spices...stir for 2 minutes.
Add the liquid, bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
Stir in the almonds, and stuff it or serve it on the side. Vegans
will get much of the same flavor if you eliminate the meat, and
use a vegetable broth.
