2 cup Chili Con Carne; Leftover
Home Made Or Canned
1 One half cup Cheddar Cheese; Shredded
One half cup Red Table Wine
1 One half pound Lean Ground Beef
One half teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoon Onion; Grated
4 sl French Bread; Toasted
In a small saucepan, combine the chili, cheese, and wine. Heat at the edge
of the grill, stirring now and then, until the cheese is melted and blended
into the chili. Meanwhile mix the beef, salt and onion. Shape into 4
patties, each about 1inch thick. Grill 3 to 4 inches above hot coals
until done as desired, 10 to 12 minutes for mediumrare. Place on the
slices of toasted French bread and spoon the chili mixture over them.
