1 pound Ground beef
One fourth pound Pork sausage
One fourth cup Chopped onion
1 Clove garlic; finely chopped
20 Pitted ripe black olives;
(up to 24)
1 cn (16oz.) whole tomatoes
1 cn (16oz.) whole corn; drained
1 One half teaspoon Salt
1 cup Milk
2 teaspoon Chili powder
1 cup Cornmeal
2 Eggs; wellbeaten
1 cup Cheddar cheese; shredded
Cook ground beef, pork sausage, onion and garlic until meat is nicely
browned; drain if necessary. Stir in tomatoes with juice, drained corn,
olives, chili powder and salt. Heat to boiling. Pour until an ungreased
9x9x2" baking dish. Mix cornmeal, milk and eggs; pour over the meat
mixture. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 4050
minutes or until golden brown. Makes 8 servings. busted by sooz
