Recipe - Hamburger Goulash

Categories: None, Hamburger Goulash
Ingredients:

FRY
1 One half pound Hamburger

ADD
1 cn (18One half oz) stewed tomatoes
1 Sliced green pepper
1 lg Onion, chopped
1 cn (1215 ounce )yellow corn

These recipes that follow are from a Lancaster, PA Amish cookbook. They are
very basic and I think I would doctor them up, myself they lend
themselves to experimentation. Add or subtract anything your family
prefers. All recipes contributed LANCASTER COUNTY AMISH COOKBOOK.

Cook for 20 minutes.

Add: 1One half cup rice

Cover and cook until rice is tender. Serve.

(This sounds a bit "blah" to me I'd be tossing in a bit of salt, pepper,
oregano, basil, pinch of sugar, paprika dress it up anyway your family
would most prefer.) Posted to EATL Digest 10 Apr 97 by Peggy Makolondra
