Recipe - Halloweenies

Categories: Cooking Liv, Import, Halloweenies
Ingredients:

1 Sheet frozen puff pastry;
thawed
12 Cocktail franks

GARNISH
Gherkins
Cherry tomatoes
Black olives; cut or sliced up

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Lightly roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet. Using a sharp knife cut out
twelve 1 by 2inch rectangles. Place 1 hot dog in the center of each square
and roll up the two sides of the puff pastry meet, but do not pinch
together. Place open side down on the prepared sheet pan and bake for 12 to
15 minutes, or until puffed and golden.

Optional garnish: Cut the gherkins in half and use for a tail. Trim a 3/4
circle on both sides of a cherry tomato to resemble ears. Insert the tomato
on one end of the hot dog. Use black olive slices for eyes.

Yield: 12 hot dogs
