2 Halibut steaks*
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
2 tablespoon Butter; melted
SAUCE
2 tablespoon Butter
1 cup Minced onion
2 Red bell pepper; cut in
.. strips
1 pt Tomatoes; cut up, with juice
One half teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Red pepper
*Can also use haddock, grouper or red snapper.
Preheat broiler. Season fish with salt & pepper, brush with butter and
broil until opague, turning once.
Sauce:
Cook onion and pepper in butter until just softened. Add remaining
ingredients; simmer about 10 minutes. Spoon over fish before serving.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
