Recipe - Half Time Spoon Rolls

1 pack Or cake yeast
One fourth cup Lukewarm water
One fourth cup Sugar
1/3 cup Shortening
1 teaspoon Salt
Three fourths cup Scalded milk
One half cup Cold water (I use milk)
1 Egg
3 One half cup Flour
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Combine sugar, shortening, salt and milk
in large bowl. Cool to lukewarm by adding One half cup cold water. (I use
milk) Blend in egg and the dissolved yeast. Add flour, mix till well
blended. Place in greased bowl and cover.
Let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk (4560 minutes) Stir down
dough and spoon into well greased muffin tins filling half full.
Let rise in warm place until batter has risen to edge of muffin pan and is
rounded in center. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350
