Recipe - Half-Hour Apple Butter

25 ounce Jar unsweetened applesauce
One half cup Sugar
1 One half teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon Ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon Ground cloves
Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan, stirring well; bring to a
boil. Then reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes; stir often
Let cool. Pour mixture into container of electric blender; process at High
speed for 10 seconds or until smooth. Store in refrigerator. Yield: about 2
