Recipe - Grilled Steak Sandwich

1 Beef Flank Steak; (About 1
Lb.)
1 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
4 sl Italian Bread
One half cup Mayonnaise
One fourth cup Prepared Salsa; Drained
1 Green Onion; Thinly Sliced
2 teaspoon Fresh Cilantro; Minced
2 cup Iceberg Lettuce; Shredded
Sprinkle pepper on both sides of flank steak. Place on grid over medium
coals. Grill about 10 minutes, turning once , to desired doneness. Thinly
slice meat across grain. Grill or toast bread slices. In small bowl,
combine mayonnaise, salsa, onion, and cilantro. Spread on one side of each
bread slice. Top with lettuce and steak slices.
NOTES : This sandwich can stand alone, or pair it with Tomato Basil Soup
for an especially satisfying meal.
