Recipe - Grilled Italian Mushrooms

INGREDIENTS
4 Italian sausages
One fourth cup Olive oil
1 tablespoon Unsalted butter
3 Onions; slivered
One half teaspoon Coarsely ground black pepper
1 tablespoon Sherry vinegar
PROCEDURE:
1. Heat the oil and butter in a large heavy saucepan.
2. Add the onions and pepper and saute until completely wilted, slowly
stirring occasionally 35 to 40 minutes.
3. Add the sherry vinegar, stir, and cook an additional 15 minutes. Serve
hot over grilled Italian sausages or other grilled meats. Can also be
served cold.
