Recipe - Green Chili Spoon Bread

1 cup Water
1 tablespoon Margarine
1 One half teaspoon Sugar
One half teaspoon Salt
2/3 cup Yellow Cornmeal
2 Eggs; Well Beaten
4 ounce Old El Paso Chopped Green
Chilies; Well Drained
One half cup Skim Milk
Preheat oven to 375. Bring water, margarine, sugar and salt to a boil in a
saucepan. Slowly add cornmeal, whisking constantly. Bring to simmering.
Remove from heat. Quickly whisk in milk, eggs and green chilies. Pour into
5 cup souffle dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake for 30 minutes
until golden brown.
