Recipe - Green Chili Con Puerco; Macayo Mexican Restaurants

1 One half pound Boneless pork shoulder;
minced
4 ounce All purpose flour
16 ounce Green chiles; chopped,
1inch square
6 ounce White onions; chopped,
1inch square
14 ounce Crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
8 ounce Water
2 tablespoon Lard
One half teaspoon Cumin
1 teaspoon Chile powder
One half teaspoon Ground oregano
Brown meat with flour in a large skillet. Add all other ingredients and
cook covered for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Optional ingredient: Add
cooked pinto beans.
