Recipe - Greek Butter Cookies (Kourambiethes)

6 ounce Unsalted butter, softened
Three fourths cup Sugar
1 lg Egg
1 tablespoon Vanilla (or cognac)
1 Three fourths cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
One fourth teaspoon Ground cloves
Confectioners sugar

Beat butter and sugar till fluffy, then beat in egg and vanilla. Add
remaining measured ingredients and chill for 1 hr. Roll into balls or
crescents(@ 1in.) Bake at 350 for 10 mins. Cool and dust generously with
