1 cup Whole wheat flour
1 cup Bread flour
One half cup Granola cereal
One fourth cup Cooked brown rice
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Water
2 tablespoon Canola; safflower, or
sunflower oil
1 tablespoon Honey
One half teaspoon Mint extract
1 pack Active dry yeast
FOR 1 1/2POUND LOAF
1 One fourth cup Whole wheat flour
1 One fourth cup Bread flour
2/3 cup Granola cereal
One half cup Cooked brown rice
1 One half teaspoon Salt
1 One fourth cup Water
3 tablespoon Canola; safflower, or
sunflower oil
2 tablespoon Honey
Three fourths teaspoon Mint extract
4 teaspoon Active dry yeast
The granola gives this bread an interesting texture, while the mint extract
imparts an intriguing flavor.
Carefully measure the flours, granola, rice, and salt, and transfer to the
pan. Add the liquid ingredients and the yeast.
Program the breadmaker for the whole wheat mode.
