Recipe - Granola Gorp

3 cup Granola (any flavor)
3 ounce Chow mein noodles
1 cup Salted peanuts
One half cup Dates; cut up
One half cup Dried apricots; cut up
One half cup Raisins
One fourth cup Margarine; melted
6 ounce Semisweet chocolate chips OR
butterscotch chips
VARIATIONS
1 One half cup Oyster crackers
Three fourths cup Roasted pumpkin kernals
Three fourths cup Flaked OR shredded coconut
Three fourths cup M & M's
Three fourths cup Salted cashews
Three fourths cup Dried banana chips
One half cup Salted sunflower nuts
One half cup Dried apples; cut up
Heat oven to 350~. Mix granola, noodles, peanuts,
apricots and raisins. Pour margarine over granola
mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spread in 9x13"
ungreased pan. Bake, uncovered, stirring occasionally,
15 minutes; cool. Stir in the chips. Store in tightly
covered container.
VARIATIONS : Add any combination of the above
variations with the granola. If using M & M's, add
with the chips.
