Recipe - Granola Bars

10 cup Fashioned oats
1 cup Wheat germ
One half pound Shredded coconut
2 cup Raw sunflower seeds
1 cup Sesame seeds
3 cup Chopped almonds, pecans and
walnuts
1 One half cup Packed brown sugar
1 One half cup Water
1 One half cup Oil
One half cup Honey
One half cup Molasses
1 One half teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Cinnamon
3 teaspoon Vanilla
Granola bars
raisins or other dried fruit optional.
Pre heat oven to 300. Combine oats, wheat germ, coconut, seeds and nuts
Blend well in large sauce pan combine brown sugar, water, oil, honey and
molasses, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Heat until sugar dissolves but not
to boiling. Pour syrup over dry ingredients and stir until well coated.
Spread into 5 13x9 baking pans bake 2030 min. stirring occasionally. 15
min longer che(u)(r)drier (I think this means chewier and drier) Cool. Add
fruit if desired. Store in cool dry place. Makes 20 cups.
