Recipe - Grannys Tacos

Ingredients:

1 cup Butter or margarine;
softened
1 One half cup Sugar
1 Egg; lightly beaten
2 tablespoon Corn syrup; light
2 tablespoon Orange peel; grated
1 tablespoon Cold water
3 One fourth cup Allpurpose flour
2 teaspoon Baking soda
2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon Ground ginger
One half teaspoon Ground cloves
DECORATIONS; optional

Red hot candies

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg, corn syrup, orange peel
and cold water. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves; ad
to creamed mixture and mix well. Chill for at least an hour. On a lightly
floured surface, roll dough, a portion at a time, to 1/8inch thickness.
Cut into desired shapes. Place on greased baking sheets. Decorate as
desired. Bake at 375 degrees for 68 minutes or until lightly browned.
