Recipe - Grandmothers Coffee Cake

One half cup Soft butter
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs; beaten
2 cup Flour
2 teaspoon Baking powder
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One half cup Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
One fourth cup Melted butter
1 cup Brown sugar; packed
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Chopped pecans
Beat One half cup butter and 1 cup sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Combine milk and vanilla. Add milk
alternately with flour mixture to butter and sugar, mixing on low. Pour
into greased 7x11 pan. Spread melted butter over batter. Combine brown
sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over batter. Top with pecans. Bake at 300 for
4045 minutes.
